The comment about moving the pen for more space? Why do you need to? The active area on the tablet is matched to the size of your aning each corner of the tablet represents a corner of your monitor.I think they may be missing the point of the tablet. Overall Review: The comment about not working well on a bigger screen? I have a 22" wide screen and it works great. Get one!Ĭons: The buttons on the pen could be moved but then they wouldn't be as easily accessible. This thing performs as well as or better than most $300 tablets. I still use my mouse as well for web surfing as I find it to be better for that than the tablet IMHO.Īt this price point, there shouldn't be any gripes. It does take some getting used but you'll be surprised just how easy it is to pick up and how fun it is to create designs, art or whatever.

You get a decent sized tablet and software to learn on. I had a gift card for a store, so I used that. Overall Review: Disregard the smaller pad, it works wonderfully. The tablet itself feels solid, something you wouldn't expect a low-cost tablet to have, it looks and performs great and thankfully works flawlessly on my 1920x1080 monitor! I honestly cannot think of anything else bad to say about this tablet.

You can just pick up the mouse higher when moving it though, but that's pretty inconvenient. When you move the mouse in the air (to gain more room to move around), it will sometimes cause the cursor to follow, which is something you don't want! Nonetheless, it's handy for laptop users as long as you can manage a faster mouse speed, or a smaller screen.

That may be since I am running Windows 7.Ĭons: The included mouse is nice, it doesn't require batteries of any kind (Neither does the pen, for whoever is wondering) but it doesn't work well on bigger screens, or slower mouse speeds due to the "Hover mode" which is used by the pen to move the cursor around. The included software I cannot seem to get to run, minus Photoshop (I already have CS4). It looks wonderful, it's very accurate, simple to use and feels realistic.

Let alone, the Inquos and Bamboo versions are much more portable and light.įor those who want to take their digital art to the next level, but do not want to invest hundreds of dollars in, I highly recommend this tablet. I would of loved to get the cintiq, a more natural and much easier to use tablet, $1000? I think I'll pass, the Bamboo gets the job done for 1/10 the price. It was actually very easy! The only obstacle was getting used to looking up at the screen instead of the surface. I wasn't sure how well I would be able to adjust to a tablet versus pencil and paper. It's been ok that way, but after a while I've been itching to get a tablet. Pros: For a while now I've been using Photoshop with keyboard and mouse. Nice and compact, but if you have the room on your desk, and the cash in your pocket, get the bigger sized one. Overall Review: Must buy for those who want to transfer their work environment to the PC, those who want to start drawing on the PC, or those who just want to change how they interact with their PC. Only con, and it didn't even have to do with the tablet.

I didn't get a notification about the package shipping out or a delivery code to track it on UPS until a day AFTER getting the tablet. Overall, pretty awesome tablet that changed how I drew on the computer.Ĭons: Although I received my order rather quickly, the tracking of it was rather sloppily done. Received it quicker than I usually do also (unless weekends now count as business days for Newegg and UPS). The software that comes bundled with it is also pretty sweet too, especially COREL Painter Essentials 4. I actually replaced it with my normal mouse since it came with one. Pros: Pretty sweet tablet for beginners like myself. High resolution and report rate for outstanding accuracyĮasy scrolling and zooming with finger-sensitive Touch Ringĭetachable USB cable unplugs from your computer and your tablet for easy storage and transport.Įrgonomic design provides a comfortable supplement to keyboard inputĪdditional Information Date First Available Quick access to user-defined shortcuts with four Express Keys Precise control and 512 levels of pressure sensitivity on both pen and eraser.
